Logging into your personal fundraising page (CanadaHelps)
If you already created a CanadaHelps account at any time in the past, you may use that account when you register to fundraise for the Talk, Walk ‘n Roll. In fact, you cannot create two CanadaHelps accounts using the same e-mail address. If you have already registered to fundraise for the Talk, Walk ‘n Roll and have begun to create your personal page, log back in to CanadaHelps. Once you have logged in, underneath Your Donor Account, you’ll see some menu items. At the very right you should see Fundraising Pages. Click there and find the Talk, Walk ‘n Roll 2021 listing. Click View to see your current fundraising amounts, etc., or Edit to update your fundraising page or record offline donations.
Will you be talking, walking, running or rolling on DATE?
The Talk, Walk ‘n Roll, usually part of the Toronto Challenge—a multi-charity event supported by the City of Toronto—will be virtual for one more year. Please join us for the 25th anniversary from from your own home, backyard, or community on the day of the event to talk, walk, or roll.
On Sunday, July 24, 2022, please take a short time out of your day to:
- Talk with family or friends in person or on the phone, while you walk or roll in or near your home. Join us – and encourage others to join us – in appreciation of the importance of talk and conversation in our daily lives. This year, our annual Talk, Walk ‘n Roll once again highlights our promise to people with aphasia and their families: “We help you navigate your life one conversation at a time.”
- Take pictures of or write a short paragraph on how you celebrated the Talk, Walk ‘n Roll. Send them to us at talkwalk@aphasia.ca, and we’ll share them (with your permission) with the rest of the Aphasia Institute community of clients, family, staff, volunteers, and board members.
We wish you safe physical distancing during this crisis. And please keep talking!

If you would like some ideas on how to craft the perfect social media messaging for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or LinkedIn, take a look at our social media toolkit. There is a special 2-minute video, created by Gayle Wilmot, in cooperation with our own clients, talking about the impact of the Aphasia Institute, the wonder of celebrating 25 years of Talk, Walk ‘n Roll, and why for them fundraising and raising awareness are so important. Please share this toolkit and video content with family and friends who may support you or have already supported you this year!
