Julia Breneol, Social Worker

Our mission is to give the gift of conversation to those who know more than they can say.  We have a collaborative, supportive work environment and culture where work-life balance is important

"The Aphasia Institute was an organization that had meant a lot to my mother, who for over 5 years was a member and found her creative side through her participation in the Art and Creative Writing programs. Upon retiring about 6 years ago, I decided to look into volunteering at the Aphasia Institute and haven't looked back. I now understand the sense of community, creativity and independence members experience when they participate in the programs, and I feel fortunate to play a small part in this through my volunteering."
